Festival 56's Grace Performing Arts Center

Festival 56’s Grace Performing Arts Center located in Princeton, Illinois is the home of professional summer theater featuring a cast and crew of professional theatre artists assembled from across the country and housed by community members during the summer season. Our productions include musicals, comedies, and dramas as well as free Shakespeare in the Park. We offer a summer drama camp for students ages 8-14 with participants performing in one of the major productions. Additional special events and productions are offered throughout the year including musical groups, comedy acts, magicians, cabarets, and holiday programs. Festival 56 is a non-profit organization and gratefully accepts support and donations year-round.

Festival 56’s Grace Performing Arts Center is located at 316 South Main Street in Princeton and is completely accessible with ample parking nearby. Beer, wine, and soft drinks are available for sale at the lobby bar. During the summer season, free Shakespeare in the Park takes the stage at Soldiers and Sailors Park. PARKING INFO

Free parking is available in the public lot on West Company Street (to the north behind Monical’s Pizza). It is strictly prohibited to park in Monical’s parking lot. Parking is also permitted after business hours at the bank across the street and the post office adjacent to the theater.

PUBLIC HOURS

All performances are at 7:30 pm or 2:00 pm for matinees. The box office is open one hour before the show. Additional box office hours will be posted on the website as applicable.

PUBLIC ADMISSION FEES

Ticket prices for summer season professional theater performances are $29, 26 (seniors), and $14 (students).
Season tickets and Flex-Four packages are available on the website.
Most off-season events are $18 in advance and$20 at the door with some events offering kids ticket prices of $12.
